St Louis Aerial Photography and Video | Hospital Tour

Drone aerial photography and video provide an invaluable big view of properties. With the ability to show the surrounding area, the landscaping, and a big scale – while hiding details like the cracked front step – aerial footage makes properties look their best. We believe in the importance of seeing things from a different perspective. We are an aerial photography and video production company, proud to use some of the latest technology in drones to capture high definition video and high-resolution aerial imagery – to give our clients the ability to showcase their companies, projects and products in new and exciting ways.

St Louis Aerial Photography and Video

It may seem like commonsense, but during aerial drone filming, you’ll want to make sure that the location is clear of other people; such as other photographers, gardeners or landscapers, unless they are actors on the production.

Often there is an advantage to having the owner or agent on site for the duration of filming/photography. We make sure to work with you and your agent to get the best aerial real estate drone photography footage possible.  We can suggest items to prepare for the outside of the home or commercial location before our professional drone photography team arrives.

Here are some items common to many drone aerial projects:
Close doors
Clean up landscaping (mow, trim shrubs, clear leaves)
Pick up any stray items that may be laying around
Cover dirt with mulch to make it look more attractive
Sweep all entry ways, the porch and sidewalks
Remove visible water hoses
Open or arrange all window coverings to same length for uniformity

Call when convenient to discuss the particulars of your specific drone aerial project.

Aerial Drone Photography and Video | Farm Footage for GMO Documentary

Our two person crew was hired by a French Production Company in charge of production for a GMO documentary. We shot a full day near Florida Missouri to gather some rather remarkable footage on such a gorgeous day. This is one view of an unedited raw clip we shot that day. This particular shot was of the farmhouse and major equipment barn.

We fly with the Inspire Cinematography platform and camera.
The Inspire has a curved lens design which eliminates distortion, and the 20mm focal length opens up your shots to a remarkably wide angle without that fish-eye look. The camera shoots video at 4K, 4096 x 2150 High Definition.

The 3-axis gimbal constantly draws on data fed by the intelligent flight controller, so it knows the aircraft’s flight parameters and computes the proper motion correction every millisecond. Such precision is only possible because of the ultra-fast, custom-made processor that is unique to the Inspire gimbal. Operating at speeds that allow the gimbal to compensate for motion and tilt in real-time, this processor controls motors on all three axes: yaw, tilt, and roll. All resulting in very smooth and completely stable shots.

Each year, Nestlé Purina celebrates PetCare Pride Day – a day devoted to community service at their St. Louis Headquarters and also at many of their factory facilities across the country. This is an opportunity for associates to step away from their desks and off the production floor to divide into teams to perform a variety of service activities.

Fox 2 News St Louis Drones by Mandy Murphy

Here is a report on our company from Mandy Murphy Fox 2 News.

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – The FAA last week decided to allow commercial use of drones under strict guidelines. The decision has been in the works since 2005 and still needs final approval. Current rules for drones are to fly for recreation. If commercial you need a pilot’s license. The new FAA rules allow for drones under 55 pounds, you must fly below 500 feet, further than 5 miles from an airport and not directly overhead of people. You must maintain constant visual line of site with the drone.

Haller Concepts of South County is already using drones from commercial photography and video. Safety is the most important aspect for Haller. They always use a two-man crew. One person operates the drone and keeps constant line of sight while the other watches the shot and directs the operator. Haller and many others like them will get their certificate of authorization.

Technology is far outpacing government rules. Law enforcement across the country are interested in using drones. St. Louis Police have asked for permission from the FAA. Groups like drone free St. Louis are opposed to police drones. They want strict privacy rules from the government.

Right now, the new ruling does not allow for companies like Amazon to begin delivering packages using a GPS drone. Line of sight is still required. It may take a year or two for the new FAA rules to be fully implemented.
